Day 1


Credits: Keep It Clean by Julie.ItIs. Fonts: JohnLennon and Shannon's hand (my handwriting). Journaling: In March, 2005, Frank surprised me with a contract to buy this house and $7000 to update it. It had some water damage and was very outdated. It needed a lot of work. We closed on the house in June and got right to work. We had made a lot of headway, and were looking forward to moving in within a couple months. But then the ice storm of ‘07 hit. A pipe fitting in the kitchen came apart and flooded the house. We were devastated, and were going to have to redo a lot of work that had already been finished. It was so disheartening that Frank couldn’t find the motivation to work on it for quite a while. Now we’ve owned the house for 4 years and are working on it again. Looking back at the old photos, we’ve come a long way. (typos fixed on my final copy.)

Credits - Boy at Play by Julie.ItIs. When I Grow Up was the theme of the Pack Mtg. There were stations and activities set up for engineering, science, pilot, chef and construction. Frank helped with the science experiment, Damian spent most of his time in construction. The kids also made paper airplanes and snack mix to snack on.
